My church has Office 97 installed on it's computer running XP Professional.
Their version of Office lacks Access. I have an old Office 97 disk which I
don't use. It has Access on it. I tried to install just Access on the
Church computer, and the installation completed successfully. However, when
I try to run Access, I get a message saying it is unable to run because
there is no License for it on the computer. What is going on? How do I run
the program?

Thank you, Mike Fanning

The license for Office 97 Standard (no Access) does not allow the running of
the Access from an Office 97 version than does. You may have to uninstall
the old version of Office 97 (Standard) and re-install 97 with the licnese
that allows Access.

first you need to uninstall the program from the computer than you need
to install the whole program withe the serial for Office 97incl. Acces
