this is legit, I own this Office 97 software, from a computer I bought about
4 computers ago, it has PP, Word, Outlook, Excel and Access. I am able to
open everything but Access . . . when attempting to open Access I get a pop
up that states that the license for this is not loaded on my machine. But
everything else opens just fine, why not access . . . and what would be the
licence? I had to enter the product key before downloading this. I cannot
afford to buy this suite anytime in the near future . . . but 97 is good
enough to refresh some long lost skills, to practice with . . . can anyone
help? BTW, the pop-up about not having the license is pretty useless as it
gives me no clue as to what I have to do to satisfy the requirement. Many
thanks!!

From your description, you have an OEM license for Office. This means
that it's "legal" for you to use that copy of Office *only* on the
original computer with which it was purchased. An OEM software license
cannot legitimately be transferred to a new computer.
