Installing MultMedia Center 9.02

I have an ATI TV Wonder PCI card . I have Multimedia Center 8.9
installed. I want to install the 9.02 Multimedia Center. What is the proper
procedure to do this?

Download Instructions:

Please read all Release Notes as they may contain additional
details/notes specific to the version driver/software you are installing.
1.. Create a central location for all your downloads
2.. Right-Click your DESKTOP and select "NEW" and then "FOLDER"
3.. Name the folder "ATI Downloads"
4.. Click on the hyperlink (i.e. Display Driver)
5.. A "File Download" dialogue box will appear
6.. Select the "SAVE" button
7.. A "Save As" window should appear
8.. Browse to the folder you created
9.. Select the "SAVE" button
Installation Instructions:
NOTE: Ensure that you have the latest Display Drivers and WDM Capture
Drivers (if appropriate) installed before proceding and that you have logged
onto the system with Administrative rights if you are using Windows 2000/XP.
1.. Uninstall any previous versions of the ATI Multimedia Center and
ATI DVD Player - Restart once prompted.

2.. Close all other applications running, including any anti-virus
software before attempting to install this software.

Windows 2000/XP:
You can confirm that all applications are closed using the Windows
Task Manager.


a.. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL once and then click Task Manager. Select the
"Applications" tab. If any applications are still listed on this tab, highlight
the application and then click the "End Task" button at the bottom of the tab.
Repeat this procedure until there are no more applications running.


Windows 98/SE/ME:

a.. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL once. End task all application running except
for "EXPLORER" and "SYSTRAY".


*The ATI Multimedia Center and ATI DVD Decoders are optional; however
are recommended for all VIVO and All-In-Wonder products.


Note: Microsoft® DirectX® 9.0 and Windows Media Encoder must be
installed prior to attempting to install MMC.


3.. DVD Decoders are optional and only required for DVD playback
support. If you do not require DVD playback support proceed to step 9, otherwise
locate the ATI DVD Decoder download and double-click on it.
4.. Insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive - Cancel any prompts for
installation.
5.. When prompted enter your CD Drive letter and click NEXT.
6.. Select "Download DVD Decoder from ATI" and click START DOWNLOAD
7.. Once Downloaded, click INSTALL.
8.. When Installation completes, click FINISH.
9.. Locate the ATI Multimedia Center download and double-click on it.
10.. Restart once prompted
11.. Additional Language support is optional. Locate the Language
Package download and double-click it.
12.. Hydravision is optional. Locate the Hydravision download and
double-click on it.
13.. Restart once prompted.
The Remote Wonder Software is optional. It is required ONLY if you have
the Remote Wonder installed.
1.. Locate the Remote Wonder download and double-click on it - Restart
once prompted.
