I have an existing Iomega Zip 100. The installation disk
that came with it is for Windows 95 and is not compatible
with the Windows XP. Does anyone know where I might find
the appropriate download software online so that my zip
drive will work with XP?

Thanks.

From Iomega's web site or sent me an e-mail and I'll sent
you my copy of the install. I had the same problem. Now
I just get intermitten I/O errors (i think caused by
Norton AV) but all I need to do is pop out the disk,
reinsert, and it works (problem reoccurs when disk is
idel)

Hardware manufacturer's are solely responsible for the drivers for their
hardware. If such software exists it should be at the Iomega web site.

I have the same problem, except the only thing I cannot
open on my Zip Dive 100 is anything in the Microsoft
processing program, like my addresses. It just does not
recognize the format. It worked fine on Wikn98. I have
been checking the net to see if I can find a site to show
what I can do to get my addresses open. Be a chore to
type them all in again.

Thanks for any help around the net. Jean in Spokane.

I am having the same trouble getting my zip 100 drive to work on m
windows XP. The drive shows up, and is assigned a letter, but ... whe
I click it, it says it's not accessible cuz it's not connected. All
have are the windows95 install disks.

Can you please send me a copy of the install to (e-mail address removed)?

I would be FOREVER grateful. I have TONS of stuff on zip disks that
need to get to.

Thanks.
Chann
