Installing IIS / XP Pro Copy Error

I have a new Acer TravelMate 4504 with XP Pro pre-installed. I can browse the
Internet okay.

I tried installing IIS using Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs,
Add/Remove Windows Components, and selected all IIS components. When
theWindows Component Wizard runs it tells me I have a "Copy Error / Setup
cannot copy the file C:\i386\ staxmem.dl_ ".
( I previously installed what I thought were the pre-requisite Networking
Services: RIP Listener, Simple TCP/IP Services, UPnP User Interface).
What did I do wrong? Do I have to activate anything first?

I have exactly the same problem. Have you resolved it?
