Installing HP OfficeJet T45 On WindowsXP

[Help Me]

I just can't get this to work!!! The T45 worked fine on
WinME but not here! Help

Did you remember to remove the previous drivers as in step 4 at
http://www.coribright.com/Windows/Article One.htm

If not, XP will still be using the original ones.

Ok, I downloaded the new updated drivers from the HP
website for intallation on Windows XP followed the
instructions to the T and when all is done...My HP
officeJet T45 says (-6)comunication error.

I also did all the pre-install things such as turning off
and I also disconnected the printer and changing the
settings in the device manager to use interrupt and
enable Plug and Play on port LPT1. I also checked the ECP
settings for that port all what they should be.
