Hi,

I have ME on my desktop and want to upgrade to a full
version of XP home. I do not want to loose all of my
files and folders. I have copied all of them to a ffolder
on my desk top using the XP File and Folder copy task.
The file is too large to copy to a CD. I tried and it
would not copy it anyway.

Q. What can I do to save the files/folders on my ME
system?

Youre going backwards.XP home full wont have anything
xp upgrade already offers you.The reason for full,is
not haveing a prior windows os to upgrade to,if you
install xp home upgrade cd,restart computer, boot to cd
select install xp,new copy,reformat hd.Youre now instal-
ling xp w/o ME,you couldnt do this if xp wasnt on hd,
or if past windows os wasnt there. But if you gotta do it
try deleting some files, try putting all music on seperate
cd,eliminate as much as possible, then use file transfer
wizard, put data on new folder you made, then transfer to
a cd.
