Installing Chipset Drivers

I found chipset drivers at

one ot donwload.

I have a Intel Tehama i850(E)

Hi Victor,

D/load the one that is currently #1 on that page (INF Update Utility
[INFINST.EXE]) which is the most current version number (6.2.1.1001).

BTW, what is the advantage of installing Intel chipset drivers and are there
any downsides that you can think of.

Advantages:

Better IRQ controls
AGP slot drivers -- gives better AGP 4.0/8.0 controls
Better USB filters
Enable Ultra DMA drivers (might also need Intel Application
Accelerator software for the true drivers)

Major disadvantage: extra download.
