am so ashamed of myself, but that's how it goes, i can't get winxp
except a pirated copy in my country. i wanted to install one recently
in my win2k as an upgrade and got a message that it was winxp sp2 beta
that means, there are bugs in it.

how do i reconcile these bugs when they do appear because win2k has
been too reliable so i don't see a rational for upgrading to a bugged
winxp. can anyone help me? ready to take the pains.

Lets see! A choice between a stable/reliable/legal??? operating system and a
4-5 years old beta operating system upgrade,

Hmnn!

I just can't decide which is best for you.

I'm sure that legal copies of XP are available in Nigeria and I doubt
very seriously that you're ashamed of yourself.

Well the cost of doing things the right way is always less than going
through the window. winxp stopped halfway and refused my win2k from
operating even in safe mode. i've to start repairing win2k and forget
about xp afterall. :) :) :)
