hello,

I would like to know how I can instal Windows XP with only the Administrator
account, Default user account & All users account. After installing WinXP
you have to make at least 1 user account before you can complete the
installation of WinXP. I've tryed to make a account with the name
Administrator but WinXP doesn't accept that name.
My notebook has WinXP with only the acconts Administrator, Default user &
All users. Therefor I think there is a way to install WinXP with only those
3 account but I don't know how.

Who can help me with this?

Thanks in advance

Actually, the only time I've been _forced_ to actually create an
additional user account while installing WinXP is when I've had to use
a major OEM's installation media. I don't recall ever having been
_forced_to create an additional account when installing a retail
license. I'm not entirely convinced, however, that this is
necessarily a good thing. After all, constantly or exclusively
operating WinXP as Administrator is very bad, from a computer security
point-of-view. For day-to-day use, one should not operate as an
administrator - this is one of the most basic of computer security
precepts.

The built-in Administrator account really isn't intended to be
used for day-to-day normal use. The standard security practice is to
set a strong password on it and use it only to create another account
for regular use, reserving the Administrator account as a "back door"
in case something corrupts your regular
account(s).
