Hi - I've just got a USB 2.0 card for my PC running XP.

When I try to install the drivers, half way through installation, it asks
for usbehci.sys.

This file isnt on the CD and I cant see it on the web.

Does anyone know how to get around this?

Thanks - Joe

The "Mini" port driver is supplied as part of Service Pack 1.
Also, most Chipset driver sets supply the driver as well.

There is a catch 22 here - it only arrives in XP as part of SP1, and if
you use the Express install, and there is no USB 2 installed at the
time, it is not downloaded.
Go to Windows Update, and on the left, take Windows Update Catalog (you
may first need to check this as shown, in the 'Personalise' item).

In that;
Take the second item, Driver Updates

Take the bottom item - Other Devices

In the search page select
Microsoft Corporation
Windows2000 Professional SP1
(*not* Windows XP)
and type USB into the Contains box

That should lead to the download of 'NEC USB software update', which
appears to be the same as the one for XP SP1, and includes the file you
need
