Can anyone tell me how I should go about keeping my XP settings when I install a new c: drive? Tx

Go to start, accessories, run the file-transfer wizard, set current comp. to old
set to store data in a folder that you create. When its thru, transfer the dat
to a cd,you have to point it in the right direction though,it'll constantly wan
to use the 3.5 floppy.Once the new hd is installed, reopen fie transfer, copy c
to new folder, then again, point it in the right direction to locate the folder from the cd.

One way is to use the Files And Settings Transfer wizard, [F.A.S.T.], but
the best way is to use third party imaging software to clone the old hard
drive to the new hard drive.
