installer wants to reinstall outlook

Hi,
I use outlook 2002 with xp professional. I reinstalled some programs from
Office XP Prof. I somehow lost outlook totally in the process. I did a
system restore, got it back, but the installer keeps popping up when I open
outlook and trys to reinstall outlook. Ideas on how to stop this
installation, orrr, if I reinstall, will it over write my existing outlook
and all the info? Like I have 5 email address in outlook, will I loose them
and the saved emails and addresses? As a last resort, how do I back up just
outlook and contents?

Help would be appreciated

Let it reinstall!
Your data should be ok but backup a rather large .PST file possibly called
Outlook.PST.

Let the installer complete.
orrr, if I reinstall, will it over write

It shouldn't. To be safe, though, save your PST.
