Whenever I run a particular program (TrueDownloader) two other programs (one
of which is not even installed anymore) launch their windows installer
dialogs and try to launch their respective uninstall/repair dialogs, as if I
were trying to remove or reconfigure from the windows add/remove programs
dialog.
Presumably this error is brought on somehow by a clash of registry settings
from the 3 programs respective installers.
However, I'd prefer to keep the software (I've tried reinstalls - doesn't
change much), so can someone please give me any tips to correct this type of
issue ?
I don't claim to be an expert, but if there's a little guidance on deleting
the relevant settings in the registry, I'm happy to do that myself ( I
presume that it's in the registry somewhere that the settings at fault reside
).
Thanks vm
