reinstall word so I go out my first cd and tried to
reinstall but my cd go corrupted and is unreadable. Now
I can't update nor uninstall the program. What can I do
to get OFFICE off my system. I had installed office 2000
premium and I have my origional office 2000 cd's but THey
won't install because I have a verion of office on my
system. HELP!

It is not at all easy but:

Delete the Office folder, if any, and the Office10 folder in Program
Files\Common Files\MicrosoftShared

Start - Run regedit.exe and delete the keys in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft
that relate to Office (nothing from the Windows or Windows NT keys
though)
then continue by going to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Components
and S-1-5-18\Products
Highlight and File - export these as backup (you might need to merge
them back some time so as to uninstall something else) and then delete
all the keys under them. Ideally you would go through, one by one, and
delete only those relating to Office, but it is a *horrible* job.

Once that is done the 2000 should install.

Best of Luck!
