Installer always pops up

I have just upgraded from office xp to office 2003 and
everytime that i open and attachment and choose Send as
attchment the windows installer pops us and scans my
floppy drive. then i creates the email. What gives? i
tried to do a detect and repair as well as a reinstall..
no prevail. Please help thanks
 
I'm having the same problem. Did you ever find out how to correct it?
