Installed WinXP/SP2 and now I can't get out to the internet.
Tried to uninstall, and it says it can't find a file.

Turned firewall off.
Going thru a linksys router to a cable modem.

Is there a tweak for this before I wipe it all out and reinstall from
scratch???

thanks.

Try reinstalling your network adapter drivers. Get the latest from:

1. The card mftr.'s website; OR
2. The motherboard mftr.'s website if onboard video; OR
3. The OEM's website for your specific machine if you have an OEM
computer (HP, Dell, Sony, etc.).

Read the installation instructions on the website where you get the
drivers.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
You just saved a week's worth of work.
Got the CD image from the NIC provider and upgraded the driver.
All's well again!
