I installed a video card and adjusted the new settings to
the moniter. Now the taskbar is missing. It is NOT
HIDDEN. When I minimize something I canot bring it up
again, although I see it's minimized form move and
dissapear into the right side of the screen. When my
mouse goes over there, it keeps on going into
nothingness. I can tell because when I move it left onto
the screen, it takes like 1 or 2 seconds for the mouse
moving right to get back onto the screen that I can see.

Your new adapter apparently supports large screen resolutions with a
virtual screen that overlaps the edges of the display, requiring you to
mouse into the margin to make the overlap visible. Reducing the
resolution one step at a time will show you the max resolution that can
be displayed on a single screen.
