Installed Norton Internet Sec. now Outlook doesn't work

I have a compaq presario 4550 desktop.
New Motherboard installed a month ago.
Installed/downloaded Norton Internet Security a week ago.
Outlook opens but no longer works. When I click on
send/receive I get a message saying "The operation
failed. An object could not be found."

Any ideas?

Start Outlook in safe mode by Start>Run>"outlook.exe /safe" (sans quotes)
and run "Detect and Repair" from under the help menu in Outlook.
 
Thanks for the idea, but it did not work.

I started Outlook in safe mode, and rand D & R. Restarted
computer upon completion and yet problem still exists.

Any other ideas?
