I have a problem (duh): Everytime I attempt to install a program onto my
system,

the windows install wizard begins to open, then it simply closes after a
second or

two without installing (or even beginning to install) whatever program I'm
attempt-

ing to install. I have a Dell Dimension 2350, with windows xp sp1.
Everything else

works fine, and no, I don't see a need to upgrade to sp2. Any assistance in
this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanx, as always, Justa-Guy
