I HAVING PROBLEMS INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE ON MY COMPUTER FOR A WEB CAM. THE BOX WHERE THE CAMERA CAME IN DOES DISPLAY THE WINDOWS XP LOGO WHY IS IT NOT INSTALLING?
Please turn off Caps Lock - it makes messages very hard to read. Disconnect your USB camera, then install the software. You will be prompted when to reconnect the camera.

Did you install the software before connecting the webcam?.. did you read
the manual before messing with it?.. does the 'CAPS LOCK' warning light on
your keyboard work, because you have typed in upper case which is not cool..
