installation of new software

When I try to install new software I get a warning of RICHED20.dll not found. Help!!! How do I fix this problem?

What software? All of several attempted software installs for a wide range of types of applications? Just one program? What?

There's about 87 articles at http://support.microsoft.com that match on a search of "riched20". That count could be reduced by specifying what product it is that you are trying to install. Take a look and see if any of those apply to your situation.
