installation error

i am trying to reinstall windows xp pro and after the first restart i get the following stop erro

0x0000007b(0xfa2fa63c,0x000000034,0x000000000,0x000000000

it says check for viruses and run chkdsk which i have done and found no errors
any help is greatly welcomed
