installation error-data error/cyclic redundancy check

I have a new machine and installed XP into a new HD. I
booted from the the XP CD, which then partitioned the new
HD and continued with installation. When files were
begining to copy, during the "installing windows" stage, I
receive the data cyclic error. I cannot go to the
recovery console. Upon rebooting many times, installation
just initializes again and goes back into setup mode
installing files without allowing me to get into the
recovery console. I even replaced the HD and still coming
across the same problem. From bootup, I cannot restart
the process again as the system locks me out of the 'EZ
Flash Utility'

Any suggestions, thanks.

Seeing that you have replaced the HD, it would appear
that the CD you are installing off could be the culprit.
CRC error simply means that an error was encounted while
reading the data, most likely due to data corruption.

Try using another CD.
