install xp prof

trying to install xp professional on my computer...have been on phone with
support for one hour but cannot get thru to a tech person have been told to
hold then recordings...how long is the wait..cannot seem to get thru with
email, want to charge .. this is new product ..which comes up with two
items...as not compatible removed one, cannot remove goback because it is
norton security...how to get thru with email without being charged and does
anyone answer the phone?????

You really, really need to remove Goback, and any other Norton
products, *before* upgrading to WinXP, or you'll be letting yourself in
for no end of problems down the road.

I'm going to second that, remove them and do not reinstall them, there are
better options.
