I am preparing to install an Upgrade version of Windows XP
Professional on my computer running Windows 2000
Professional. I am wondering if the insatll will
automatically remove my old Windows version? If it
doesn't, how do I do it to save space on my hard drive??

The procedure is explained in the link below. You will need a Win9X/Me/2000
cd to insert for qualifying for the upgrade XP version.
You boot from the CD and do a clean install.
Click on or copy and paste the link below into your web browser address bar.
