Am I able to install my XP onto my parents computer as they need XP so i can
get them on the internet via my computer. I understand there may be a problem
activating it. Is it possible to use my one CD to install onto two computers?

You will be able to install Windows XP on a second machine, but you will
not be able to activate it. Activation is based on the type of license you
have and with a Retail copy of the Operating System, it only provides you
with one license that can only be activated once. You would be only be
able to use the computer until the Activation period runs out.

You need a seperate product key in order to get around this, which would
mean purchasing another copy of Windows XP.

Billy;
One license, one computer, the way it has always been with all
consumer Microsoft operating systems since at least Windows 95.
If you want Windows XP on two computers, you need to buy 2 copies.
