Hi, I want to uninstall word and install it on another computer. Will I be
able to do this and activate it?

If it was a retail copy, you can probably do this but will probably need to
use phone activation (note that some versions of Word allow you to install
on more than one system). It it's an OEM copy, it's not legal to install it
on any system but the one it came with.

That depends on your version. If Word came with your computer, then it is an
OEM version and only licensed for use on that particular machine. If it is a
retail version of the software, then you should be able to install on the
new computer and activate your software. (Then uninstall it from the old
computer.) It may require a telephone activation rather than online.
