I would like to install Windows XP with SP1 from IDE ATA133 controller. The reason is 160GB ATA133 hard drive and motherboard that only supports ATA100
The most obvious soloution is F6 and install additional driver from the floppy, but since I do not have one, this won't work for me

I was thinking if it is possible to add an IDE driver to Windows installation. Or if I could change the installation so I could choose a driver from the CD (come on Microsoft, days of floppy are over!)

Think now!

How could Microsoft include a driver on the CD for a IDE ATA133 controller
when the IDE device WAS NOT AVAILABLE WHEN WINDOWS XP WAS INTRODUCED?
