I have recently got a new laptop with vista already installed but with a
upgrade vista disc, what i would like to know is am i able to install vista
on my other computer using this disc ???? it currently has windows xp home
edition on it, if this is possible do i just restore then put vista on
instead of windows xp?

What you have is an Upgrade Anytime disc that upgrades
a current version of Windows Vista to Vista Ultimate.
You cannot use that disc to upgrade Windows XP to
Windows Vista. You'll need to purchase an upgrade
version of Windows Vista in order to upgrade your
Windows XP installation.

You do not have a license to install on another computer. You would need to
buy an upgrade version of Vista to legally install on your other computer.
It is highly doubtful that what you have would work and you would have
activation problems if it did.
