Install software by running setup?

After a parallel install of XP I have a need to reinstall software from the
earlier version of XP to the current. When I go to use PP I receive a message
that says I need to run setup to install the application. How do I accomplish
this? thanks-

Unless you're a hacker, you can't and should not do this. Simply install
the applications again. The best part of reinstallling Windows is having
to re-install all the applications again, because you end up with a
clean registry and clean user profiles.
