install problems

i cannot seen to install newer games onto my pc. when i try to load the disc
up it takes ages for my pc tp read the disc and when it does it reads as a
blank cd. anyone know what the problem is

Does this happen with all disks or just the games ones, could be
your CD/ DVD drive is going south.
