I purchased a used PC from my old work and I would like
to erase everything that is on the hard drive and start
over with an install of XP Pro. When I installed XP Pro
it created a dual OS environment. I only want to run XP
and I want to remove the Win2000 OS. How can I erase
everything and just start over? Thanks.

Boot from Windows XP CD.
When it asks you "Which partition to install on" - DELETE all partitions,
create new ones, continue installation.

Duane, from the WinXP Cd you should be able to delete and format
partitions. Start the install process again and choose
New Install>Advanced. Check the box that says you want to choose which
partition XP is installed. The goal is to format
everything so that you start fresh.

Greetings --

Simply boot from the WinXP installation CD. You'll be offered the
opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part of the
installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order of boot
devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)
