Install Norton after SP2 !

Hi everyone,
Due to corrupted registries entries I need ti Re install Norton Antivirus
But I can't, is SP2 the bad one ?
I have read a lot on Symantec Support Site,
I have do each step twice but the things remain the same.
Install hang at 30%.
No virus found

Any idea how to solve my problem ?

I believe that Norton has a removal tool on their site.
Some registry entries remain after usual removal methods and so you
need to use their tool to remove the entries before beginning a clean
install.
Either way this is not an XP issue. {]:~)

I have already try the removal tool
Nothing fixed after that !
I have read and try A LOT before asking here
This is why I suspect SP2.
