Install new DVD burner

I have an emachine desktop computer, and I am trying to install it. The
directions say that I have to remove the hardrive cover,a dn I'm not sure how
to do that, I don't see any way that I can take it off. I have a T3104 model
computer, and can anyone help?

No, you are somehow badly misreading the instructions. No instruction
will tell you to take off the hard drive cover. Removing the cover any
place but in a laboratory clean room situation will destroy the drive.

For more help and information, please post the exact verbatim text of
the instructions.

The directions *might* be referring to removal of the drive bay cover on the
front panel of the computer case.

You don't remove the hard drive cover, but you will remove the cover on front of the
empty 5.25" bay you will put the drive in.
