If I install Google Chrome, can I uninstall it if I don't like it (or it
doesn't like my computers)?
Thx
Dave

What does this have to do with Windows XP? ;-)

Have you ever installed an application on your computer? Later removed it?
Same difference.

He apparently wants to install Google Chrome on a WINDOWS XP System.

Great - but the issue of uninstalling it if they do not like it is not a
Windows XP issue. Each software vendor comes up with their own methods of
instalation/uninstallation and integration into various operating systems
and editions of those operating systems.

So...

What does the OPs question about installing/uninstalling Google Chrome
(assuming the browser and not the OS) have to do with Windows XP - other
than that *may be* (just because they post in this newsgroup does not mean
they have Windows XP of any edition/architecture/etc - raises the chances -
but they are far below 100% - likely above 60%) the operating system they
are currently utilizing?

And if one does not designate Google Chrome OS vs Google Chrome browser -
well - it could get stranger.

Maybe they should just download a VM and run the OS (if they meant the OS)
or Google Chrome Portable (browser)...

*shrug*

Still unsure the specific reasons of why this would be a concern for Windows
XP General. If it is the Google Chrome Browser - just like almost all other
applications - you can install/uninstall. If this is the OS - well - one
should know if they blow away their OS for another OS - if they want the old
OS back - they will have to restore it somehow - most likely by a clean
installation or applications of an image of the old system. ;-)

Nevertheless, it is a Windows XP system and it may or may not show in
Add/Remove which is a WindowsXP function..
