Install errors

after tring to install my hp printer , i now get an error
WINDOWS IN SAFE MODE OR WINDOWS INSTALLER BAD

Can anyone halp me ?

I take it that you have your HP installation disk? Has the
installation completed when you get the error messages or is the
installation interrupted? What model printer?
If the installation was completed, reboot, unplug & replug the printer
(after a few seconds) and try to print.
