Install error

I am trying to install a new application. I am receiving the following error when the install shield tries to launch

1607 Unable to install Installshield scripting runtime

I have installed programs on this computer in the past with success. Any ideas????

Hi Betsy,

If you have trouble with Windows installer try this


From Start > Run type regsvr32 /i msi.dll
From Start > Run type sfc /scannow
(note the space between the c and the forward slash)
