Where can I find the install date of the current version of Windows XP?

Thank you

Here is a simple method:
- Click Start / Run / cmd {OI}
- Type this command:
dir c:\win* /tc

If XP Pro, open a command prompt...
Start | Run | Type: cmd | Click OK |
Type: systeminfo and hit Enter |
Scroll back up to Original Install Date:

XP Home does not have systeminfo.exe.

Hope this helps. Let us know.

Click Start | Run :
hcp://system/netdiag/dglogs.htm
Click "Set scanning options"
Untick everything except : (this is just to speed up things)
"Show" under Actions AND "Operating System" under Categories
Click "Scan your system"
Expand "Operating System" and it will tell you about Install Date + many useful
things like :

LastBootUpTime, FreePhysicalMemory, FreeSpaceInPagingFiles, FreeVirtualMemory,
NumberOfProcesses, NumberOfUsers, SerialNumber (product key), ServicePack
Version = 2

Good Luck, Ayush.

Mine says 2003. 3+ years without an OS reinstall and still stable. I had
to reinstall 98 twice a year.

:o)
