Is there a way to safely install Outlook 2003 and 2002 on the same system
running XP Pro ? I was thinking of keeping the Outlook 2003 on the C drive
and maybe installing 2002 on the D drive. But...am concerned about PST and
other common files.

The only reason in the world I would want to do this is I use Outlook 2003,
but most of the Pocket PC people are using Outlook 2002 and it would be nice
to have a copy that I could "experiment" with as far as syncing would go. I
would set up 2002 in a basic environment, with no email access and hopefully
with totally different files then what 2003 is using.
Any way this would work or is this asking for trouble ?
Thanks

No, only one Outlook client can exist on an OS partition. You could always
run a Virtual PC and install Outlook 2002 on it for experimentation. You
can also use a VMWare session to do the same thing. However, only one
Outlook client can be installed in the partition.

Thanks Milly,
That is what I was afraid of. I do not have the system resources to really
run VPC, so think I will just add Outlook 2002 to an older machine and use
that when questions come up about it.
Thanks for the info,.
