install a shared printer from a Mac Osx

Hello,

I try to install a shared printer on my Windows XP. I
share this printer on the other computer of my network
(it is a Mac running on osx).

But as I want to find this printer, I cannot see it on
the network. I can see the shares folder printer and
faxes on my Max from my Xp computer but this folder is
empty

Which computer is the printer physically connected to

I have USB printers connected to my PC, on the PC I set them up to be shared (see the help on the PC for sharing a printer). On the Mac, using OS 10.3, after you press "Add" in the printer setup utility you can specify "Windows Printing" from the menu, then you select the domain and the PC computer name and the PC's shared printers will appear. Then select them and they are ready to go

You need a printer driver. If you can't find a Mac driver for the printer, look into Gimp-print (http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net)
