instalation dead end 0x0000007a

While trying to install xp on a new system I am building
I get a message stating that windows has shut down. On
screen is the following code

0x0000007a (0xe11049ec,0xc000000e,0xbf8ed7dd,0x0ef9f860)

So far MS has not been any help
I believe 0x000000 is a hardware conflict but I have a
bare minimum of peripherals connected; keyboard, mouse,
memory, FD, HD, video card, monitor.
All of wicth worked with knoppix and 2000
 
Sounds like you have a base hardware problem, if you are getting STOP
screens on base hardware problems.
