If I want to insert a picture from a file in Excel, Excel by default opens the My Picture folder. Can I change this default setting to a different folder (like you can do in Word)?
Dunno. But after you've inserted one picture, Excel will remember that
location for further inserts. Or you may wish to put a shortcut(s) to the
folder(s) where you often go. It's only one extra step, and only the first
time.
