Any time I try to insert my Excel template into the portion of the Word
template it is illegible. How do I insert an Excel template into a Word
template?

G'day "Jonni" <[email protected]>,

Can't you just use a hyperlink to the related excel file?

G'day back to you.

Now you will discover how very little I know about computers. I vaguely
know that a hyperlink is a way to tie two pages together. Can you briefly
tell me how I would use a hyperlink to make two pages appear as one? Thanks
a bunch!

G'day "Jonni" <[email protected]>,

It doesnt make em appear as one, it lets you load that other document.
Think of a hyperlink like an icon on your desktop, when you click it
it loads that file. Otherwise you can insert linked content which is
problematic in various scenarios.

It is nice knowing that there are people on the net willing to share their
knowledge with us beginners. Thanks for trying to help. However, I need
the excel template inside of a word template to appear as one document.

Select the portion of the Excel table you want in Word, Copy to the
clipboard, then edit > paste special and use either Excel format or HTML
format and check the paste link box. The portion of the spreadsheet will be
inserted into the document (c/w formatting) and the link will allow changes
to the Excel sheet to be reflected in Word.
