I need help!!

I am trying to figure out a way that I can put a specific
page number into the footer of my worksheet. The number
that I need to start with is 1-21898 and continue this
sequentially for 178 pages.

How does this get accomplished. THANKS to anyone that can
help with this question!

Thanks...I tried that and it added 10 to each page
number...the first page was 1-21908, page 2 was 1-21918
and so on...if you can think of another way or a way to
tweak that formula, I would appreciate it!

Enter John's footer text as written then hit spacebar once and OK your way
out.

Excel needs the <space> after the number.

Hmmm...never noticed that bug before. Is that for all versions of WinXL?

No added space is necessary in MacXL.

Hmm... MacBU must have fixed it in either MacXL2001 or MacXLv.X.

I don't remember it being a problem in MacXL98, either.

I'll put a bug into MS to update the KB to show that XL2003 has the same
problem....
