Inserting QuickTime Videos

I desperatly need help! I want to add a video clip I took with my camera.
The problem is that it defaulted the file to .mov (a Quick Time file).
PowePoint won't play the video. Is there a patch/add in that I can down load
to make PowerPoint play this type of file?

Most of the cameras that make "mov" files aren't really mov at all. Try
changing the files extension from "mov" to avi or mpg.

you need to convert .mov to .avi or .wmv
