I'm having a problem inserting objectswith a link to
file into a Word(2000) document. I'm making a manual in
word and inserting object from AutoCAD. When I insert more
than one object; everything is fine until I save and
close. When I reopen the word file, both of the drawings
are the same. When I click on the picture, it has the
right picture and is linked to the right file.
I'm trying to make a manual for parts. So that when I
insert a drawing into Word, later it will update
automatically, when the drawing is updated in AutoCAD.
Please let me know.
Thank you!
Tammy

Hi Tammy,

First thing I'd try is to see if it still happens when you do
this:

- Rename Normal.dot to NormalOLD.dot
- start up Word
- insert/link the drawings into the new document Word
generated. Save, etc., just as you would for the "real" file.

If it's NOT happening with the new file, this is an
indication the document in which it's happening is damaged.
You might try copy/paste without the last paragraph mark into
a new document.
