Trying to insert either a jpg. or btm. image into a document and now having
toruble. The image inserts and you can see it (sometimes) in the doucment
however when you scroll the screen the part of the image that goes off screen
disappears. It is still there however it cannot be seen; can only see the
partial image that did not scroll off. What is happening and how can I solve
this? Did not have this problem on an older computer I had with an older
Microsoft program. Now have a new computer with Office XP. Is this operator
error, software related or hardware related?

In .rtf file I either resize image smaller b4 pasting in the
doc or most often max wordpad window so the image fits in
window.

Any advise given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS (Normally, Usually, Generally, Sometimes :)

Thanx for trying Larry:

There is plenty of room on the document page for the photo, in fact I can
fit 2 photos on same page. I have even as you suggested cropped the photo
smaller but have the same result with the photos sometimes appearing and when
it does if I scroll the portion scrolled off disappears and I'm left with a
partial photo.

Any other comments out there????

The problem is that the color card, LCD Monitor and the driver for monitor
are not quite compatible. We donwloaded the most recent driver and had to
slow it right down for the monitor to refresh. When the monitor refreshed
and the images stayed visible expanded tool bar menus when openned took
several seconds and they came in like ghosts. We are now looking at an
alternate color card. Hawk
