Inserting bitmap

We wanted to insert a logo made from Adobe Photoshop into Powerpoint MX. But
except for the logo the white squired background
appears (visible against a dark background) although we've extracted the
logo in Photoshop from it's background and inserted it as an object.
What can we do to make the background disappear?

It's an object in Photoshop but once you save it to something that PPT can
eat, your PShop file is "flattened" back into a simple bitmap, and all
bitmaps are rectangular images.

You can use PPT's picture formatting toolbar, transparency tool to make the
background pixels transparent, or try this on:
