Hi,

I'm working in Powerpoint 2000 have an animated Gif file
of a rubix cube that I want to place on one of the slides
within my Powerpoint Presentatons.
I have experimented with the Insert from File, but the
animation is not working. Is there a 'trick' to making
this work, or is it possible?

Thanks,
Scott

Animated GIFs should work in PowerPoint 2000, but not 97. However, they
only work in Slide Show View. Have you switched to Slide Show View? You
can get a bit more information from the PPT FAQ at "Animated GIFs don't
animate":

David,

Thanks for the answer to my question. Viewing the
presentation in slide show view activates the animation
for the Gif file.

Thanks!
Scott
